A Baby’s Goodness (Titus 3:4-7)

Pastor Dale Jaech, December 25, 2019
Part of the Historic Lectionary - Christmas series, preached at a The Naticity of Our Lord 2019 service

Prayer: Lord God, gracious Father, Who in the fullness of time sent Your Son to assume human flesh like ours and to become our Brother, we thank You for Your faithful Fatherly goodness in giving us this Savior. By His birth, death, and resurrection, we are delivered from sin, death, and hell. Keep us ever in the true knowledge of our Redeemer, that we may rejoice with the angels at His nativity, and on the Last Day may behold Him, with You and the Holy Spirit, in glory and majesty, in perfect goodness and light, forever and ever. Amen.

Titus 3:4-7

4But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, 5Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; 6Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; 7That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
