“The Zeal of the Trinity is the Confidence of Faith” (Romans 8:14-17)

Pastor Dale Jaech, May 27, 2018
Part of the 2018 Pentecost/Trinity series, preached at a Sunday Divine service

Eternal Heavenly Father, by the almighty power of the Holy Spirit, we have been brought to faith in the effective suffering and death of the only begotten Son of God, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. For His sake You have adopted us again as Your own precious children and You give us His inheritance of eternal life. Grant us therefore that we may live, not in fear of Your holy Law, but in the joy of our adoption, to Your eternal glory. Amen.

Romans 8:14-17

14For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. 15For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. 16The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 17And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. (KJV)
